Favorite workout and why?
It’s really hard to pick one! Panthers is my favorite “classic gym day” where strength shines. Muscle fatigue is a whole different ball game than cardio fatigue! This workout provides a great opportunity to encourage your teammates around you to challenge limits, as you’ve only got one lap around the room to really “bring it”. A close second is T-10. Moving between strength and cardio back-to-back, every weight you pickup feels just a little bit heavier as you go. It challenges endurance and strength all in one and leaves you feeling full of energy by the end!
Where are you from?
I was born and raised in Cedar Falls, Iowa – where I will always call my “main” home (this is where I get my love of seasons). After that, I lived in Texas (primarily San Antonio and San Marcos) for a few years, until I found my way to good ol’ Louisville!
Fun fact about you?
I have always been heavily active and into the arts – dance, music, photography, and really anything that involves creativity. If it can be dreamt, surely there is a way to make whatever it is come to life!
Honestly my favorite food changes every now and again…currently I would say it’s salmon. Such a silky smooth texture, and so many ways to cook it!
What’s your favorite hobby outside of F45?
I guess that currently it could be considered a “hobby”, but I did get my degree in Fine Art – Photography….so hands down, that! Taking photographs, editing, bringing abstract realities to life in photoshop. If I can find a reason to use my camera, I usually will.
What does F45 mean to you?
F45 to me is a place where many can come together and form new friendships that can last a lifetime. Building confidence through taking control of your health and fitness isn’t something that just affects you when your in the gym, but it radiates out positively in life. F45 is creating a community for those with similar lifestyle interests to be able to come together and work towards their unique goals, as a team. Team training really IS life changing.
